Oil Painting by Oliver Clare (1852-1927) Still Life of Fruit, Circa 19th Century.  Signed lower right.  The frame is original to the painting.
Provenance: Born in 1853, he was the son of still-life artist George Clare.  The Clare family members were Victorian artists who specialized in still life and flower paintings.  He Exhibited in the Royal Society of Artists, Manchester City Art Gallery, Royal Academy & Royal College of Art.
